Police say a Hardwick man riding his Kawasaki dirt bike and doing a wheelie was seriously hurt when he crashed on July 15 into a car on Scott Road. Brandon Tallman, 24, was taken to Copley Hospital in Morrisville by Hardwick Rescue after the crash. Hardwick Police reported his injuries to be serious. Police responded to the crash about 4:40 p.m. on July 15. The investigation of the crash determined Tallman was riding the dirt bike on the back wheel when he crossed into the oncoming lane and collided with a Toyota Tacoma driven by 30-year-old Levi Chase of Hardwick. Both vehicles received major damage.
