A Vermont man faces arson and burglary charges

A Vermont man faces arson and burglary charges in New Hampshire after authorities say he broke into Lou’s Restaurant and Bakery in downtown Hanover and intentionally set a building at an apartment complex on fire. Police say Michah Bouton, 37, of Hartford, Vermont, purposely set fire to the maintenance building at 5 Meadowbrook Village in West Lebanon. Police say both crimes happened early Sunday morning. Firefighters were called just after 1:15 a.m. to the fire. Hanover Police say Boutin is also a suspect for several graffiti incidents downtown, over the weekend. Bouton is currently being held in Vermont. He’ll be extradited to New Hampshire to answer to arson, burglary, theft and graffiti charges.
