Join the Memphremagog Science & Education Center and Vermont Center for Ecostudies for The Common Loon, a free community talk exploring the lives of loons and ongoing conservation efforts in Vermont.
Loon biologists Eric Hanson and Eloise Girard will share stories, research, and insights from their work studying and protecting these iconic birds.
The event will be held October 13, 2026, from 6:00–7:30 p.m. upstairs at the Gateway Center, 84 Fyfe Drive, Newport, Vermont. The program is free and open to the community.
